I've gained 9 lbs since October (damn Halloween candy).  My clothes don't fit.  It's absolutely the worst feeling ever!

So I'm starting my New Year tomorrow.  I'm going to do the 5DPT to start.  Then I'm determined to continue cutting out all white carbs.  Bread and sugar are my drug of choice.  I've got to stop eating them.

I realized just the other day that my membership at 24Hour hadn't expired.  So back to the gym I go!

So does any body want to join me on the 5DPT?  I'd appreciate the support!

Hi Michele:

I jump in with you.  I have gained 14 lbs. since June and Hernia surgery.  I started the 5 dpt today.  I will check in with you on Tuesday.

My  husband and I started yesterday (Sunday) and had a successful first day! He isn't a wls'er, but he just wanted to decarb and detox after the holidays and I have to admit that it was much easier to get thru the day with his help and knowing that he was doing it too. I told him this morning that he could eat today if he wanted too, but he has chosen to stick with the protein shakes for the day~he's so sweet! Anyway, I'm here to cheer you on if you need anything! Oh, and I have gained since Halloween too~I need to go post my weight as of yesterday, but I"ll share with you~167lbs  I haven't been this weight in a longggggggg time, so now its time to get to work and get it back off. I know I will never stay as low as my lowest (150) for the long haul, but staying in the 150's somewhere is my ultimate goal!!!! Better to catch it and fix it now then 20 or 30lbs down the line. Good luck with the 5dpt!!!!

You and I are EXACT to the T!  I weigh 168 and I too want to get down to my lowest weight of 150 and will accept anything in the 150's.  Is it very frustrating just drinking the protein shakes?  How many shakes do you drink a day?  My BFF and I decided to start our WW regimine last Friday.  I have lost 2.5 lbs so far.  When we reach our 15 pound loss we are treating ourselves from a weekend away from the guys and kids as our reward.  We just have to come up with someplace to go.  I AM DETERMINED!

I gained 4# over Christmas. I ate cookies, lots of them, I baked them too my fault! gave aaway as many as I could but my size 6 jeans are getting tighter. Why do we do this to ourselves? What is the 5DPT?

I made my famous fudge and ate too much of it and too many other things.  Was I ever so mean as to have given you some?  It's extremely addictive!

5DPT is a way to getting back on track and ridding yourself of those carb cravings.  I think it works really well.
