OT/ What id deal with at night.
No more Beagle on the bed. She's a bed hog anyway.
Oh MY! From this angle I look like the crazy "Cat Lady." from the Simpsons Show...Yikes.
Taffy, the new kitty, needs to be brushed alot more than the other two because she's a shedder. Of course, I give her more attention and the two boys get jealous...I swear, my lap isn't big enough for this!
Thanks to my dh for posting this stuff!

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Bandit was called a Chihuahua mix at the Pound when we got him but I do believe he's part Jack Russell...He gets frustrated with the whole bed thing because the Beagle, the little one, the kitten AND our Maine Coon mix cat take up room there. With all that, he would just as soon go find his pillow on the couch and sleep there. LOL.
It's a zoo but I love it.

We have a bigger dog (Australian Shepherd Mix) but she lives outside and won't come in the house unless we force her. It all started because out where we are, people drop off dogs and cats and they come to us and we let them stay and take care of them.
In 2006 two renegade PitBull/Sharpei mix dogs came into the yard while my husband was out working and killed our Lhasa Apso (12 years old). Without a dog at all, the yard is too quiet and there's no one to tell us when someone comes into the yard. So we got the Aussy. But I wanted a lap dog so Dexter got me Petey (Dachshund/Pomeranian) for Christmas 2006. When a friend found a Beagle who was tearing up his owners yard, we adopted her too. Then Petey was killed earlier this year while we were in Hawaii (at the kennel, sad story). Dexter thought to fill that hole in my heart with Bandit from the Pound. He was owned by an older lady that died in July and they kept him four months (not suppose to keep them more than 30 days) but he was so sweet, even the pound people couldn't put him down. He's had his bark removed and he wheezes and snores (even when he's awake) and just the most pathetic thing...We had to keep him. But I STILL wanted a lap dog of my own so, there came Peppy...Now I have two little men (lap dogs) and a rambunctious Beagle girl.
We had the same three cats for the last 8 years. Our oldest, Lucas (14) got sick at Thanksgiving and we had him put to sleep two days after that..Hard to do but he was suffering and that's what responsible pet owners do. I held him in my arms as he breathed his last...Then the Sunday before Christmas we saw Taffy in front of the 99 cent store. I wasn't even going to look but Dexter (being the "tough" guy that he is) looked and fell head over heals in love with her..SIGH...
It's not all my fault..LOL. But I was an accessory to the crime. hahahah.

LMAO! Now I don't feel so bad...I have one bed hog myself....She lays on my legs and drives me crazy at night...
Don't feel too bad though...I have to cook my dog food because she will eat nothing but chicken and a limited few veggies....No dog snacks unless they are expensive "Greenies" and only dark meat chicken thighs...and if I sneak in some carrots or other veggies, she won't eat ...She turns her nose up at steak, peanut butter, cheese, bacon, ham, bones, anything BUT chicken thighs! She like mac and cheese too! But only once in a while! I have to play a game of "give your food to the dog next door" just to get her to eat...Or I have to hand feed her....I know I spoiled her...My kids are spoiled too...I never learned! LOL
Yeah...
Fun!
On days we are eating beans...Hubby has himself a coronary because the dog is eating freaking baked chicken! LOL
