Accountability - Saturday
Today I walked the mall from one end to the other with special care given to the nutritional stores. I got my walking in and I worked on the Wii for 10 minutes. I even did the short jog.
List for the day:
Pre B: 10 oz coffee, 24 oz drink mix, water
B: oatmeal, tvp, soy protein, soy milk
S: 24 oz drink mix, water before walking the mall
S: 24 oz drink mix, water while walking
L: Sonic Burger Santa Fe Grilled Chicken Salad with Light Ranch Dressing
S: 24 oz drink mix, water when I got home
D: 3.2 Salmon Patty, 2/3 cup raw spinach, 2 slices of tomatoe, light vinegret
Dessert: 1 single serving kettle corn microwave popcorn. I STILL did good.
Totals for the day:
Calories: 1373
Fat: 47.6
Carbs: 134.5
Protein: 112.6
I still didn't do too bad. I kept moving today and didn't take the bait to sit around all day. Cleaned and then walked and then Wii'd...Did good.

hi dawn i found a yummy way to get more prot in and it is not that bad for ya (ya right) made a cheese cake for me. fat free cream cheese and eggs and splenda and a no sugar low fat gram crust. cheese cake that will not make me sick and i did not get the heart attack syndrome. that is what i call it.

d:beef tips no noodles and a couple of green beans no butter

still working on getting that Prot number up. got the water at 40 oz so far and working on about 30 more and 60oz of hot tea decaf and 6 oz of coffee. no taffy today but had cheese cake for lunch.

That is a good idea...I bet you could add some protein powder to that too..If you could find some lemon protein, that would be awesome...I might try that! Chocolate protein would be really interesting too. I have all that stuff available plus, I found that kashi go lean (ground up) makes a nice pie crust/cheese cake crust too...I did that for Thanksgiving.
I know my doctor didn't want me to have protein shakes after a year out but he didn't say I couldn't cook with the stuff! HA>
LOW calories today! Good job. I found that if I keep below 1400 calories, I can lose weight if I exercise and keep moving..I've lost 1.8 pounds in TWO DAYS! Of course, it could be water weight and I tried to keep the salt down too and increase the water.
I know my doctor didn't want me to have protein shakes after a year out but he didn't say I couldn't cook with the stuff! HA>

lemonade from nectar oh my great idea i am going to try the kashi and that. and i have cookies and cream so i am going to try that too. That way i get a treat and get the prot i need yummy thanks for the great idea. I just put cut up apples on it with cin splenda and a little nutmeg. u are so good. your the best.

South Beach has an awesome high protein pizza...I really like it. I haven't gotten one in some time. I'm "stuck" on ceviche lately. I can't seem to get enough fish...Must be something I'm lacking.
The list looks really good. I would guess at least 90 grams of protein on that with that pizza...
