Well, I didn't do too bad today.

B: oatmeal, soy milk, tvp, soy milk, coffee

2B: 3 eggs, 2 piece bacon, 1/2 cup hashed browns

L: 4 oz ceviche, 1 bag sun chips

D: 4 oz cooked shrimp, 1/2 caesar salad, 1/2 cup potato chips, 2 pieces homemade garlic cheese bread

Dessert: 1 slice banana bread, homemade

Totals for the day: 

Calories: 1902
Fat: 82.8
Carbs: 171.7
Protein: 125.8

I had an okay day, could of been better and it could of been alot worse!
0900-protein drink
1130-chicken,1/4 c brown rice and 1/4 c brocoli
1200-mini baby ruth
1330=banana bread
1530-inside of a chicken quesidilla
1900-hamburger patty, baked potato,brocoli
2000-skinny cow
I forgot 7 triscuits around 1700

No Zumba, I got home too late to get my stuff together but will be there at 0900 tomorrow for a special Famly Zumba at the YMCA. Have a great night and day tomorrow.

Hey Dawn, I have been trying to do so good. I got a little off track with the sweets for the holidays. I avoided cookies at work all day.

Early AM:
Protein shake
8 oz coffee w/ splenda and half & half

Breakfast:
Boiled egg
4 strips of turkey bacon

Snack:
Apple

Lunch:
1 Cup of white chicken chili

Snack:
WW Yogart

Dinner:
3.5 oz Grilled pork chop w/ onions
1/2 Cup of Steamed broccoli

Snack:
1 ham & cheese roll up
Hot chocolate made w/ 8 oz of FF calorie countdown milk

 Cal , Fat, Carbs, Protein

Great numbers! Great protein number!

Don't worry too much about alittle slippage in your diet during the holidays doesn't need to crash the whole train...I figure non WLS patients gain 10-15 during the holidays (at least I used to) and if I gain a pound or two during the holidays, it's easier for me to take it back to normal.

I decided to make chili today...I can hardly wait. I have left over Maple Sausage and I'll use ground beef, pinto and black beans...

This is what I've had yesterday: Tuesday

Breakfast:
2 eggs w/2 small pieces of Turkey sausage & 1 slice wheat toast

Snack or 2nd breakfast:
1 Package of instant Oatmeal w/1 scoop of Banana protein and dash of Cinnamon.

Lunch:
5-6 crackers
1/2 cup of shredded chicken breast w/light salad dressing & relish

Dinner:

1/2 a Chicken Parmesan Sausage w/onion, garlic & tomatoes
1/4 Mini Penne pasta w/2 tbs of meat sauce
2 tbs of parmesan cheese

oo and I almost forgot, a homemade choco chip cookie

Total numbers look good:
Calories 1219
Carbs 115 about half came from the pasta
Protein 93

Carbs really do add up..... dang...

I just can't eat pasta at all. The other night I had some and it made me sick. I'm thinking I need to get some spaghetti squash and eat meat sauces that way or forget the italian stuff completely. LOL.

I even thought possibly using frozen hashed browns instead of pasta. I have no problem with potatoes...just the stinkin pasta.

It looks like you're a year further out than I am but started at the same point. Are you maintaining or do you need to get back on track?

Unfortunately I don't have that problem, I wish I did but I don't.   I can eat pretty much anything in moderation. 

I'm trying to get back on track, I've let weight creep bac
k up some and I need to keep track of what I'm eating... lately I've had a sweet tooth and can't seem to shake it.

With sweets you have to choose your battles. I can say no to donuts, sweet breads, all sorts of cookies but my husband's chocolate chip cookies? Nope. So I have to give every single one of them away and put all the other sweets out of my sight. I swear, even with the cookie jar stuffed full, I don't get any temptation from that so long as I can't see them.

I have my sugar free cookies out where I can see them and when I get to feeling deprived of cookies or sweets, I take one of those and have it. I keep sugar free candy laying around the house all the time and the good stuff hidden.

I know that if I have more than three of those things I have no need for laxatives, if you know what I mean..LOL. So I find extra intestinal fortude in that and stay compliant...LOL.

Do whatever it takes and you'll be able to say no alot longer.

hi all happy new year!!!!

b;hot tea and couple bites of bacon and about 3 crapes with real maple topping

d;tri tip ham green bean stuff and wheat roll
s;sm slice cake and and sm slice apple pie

ok the damage is done and i am getting back on track it was our x-mass dinner/new years dinner. We all could not get together on x-mass nor on new years so we did it yesterday. i also got in about 80 oz of hot tea decaf and 1 bottle of water and 2 count them 2 soda the reg stuff not diet. dang i dont even want to see the total cals on that day.
