Hey Kathy,
I feel I am back on my routine almost. The weather up here was crazy for over a week and I did not get to the gym as often as usual due to the icy roads. I ran Saturday and did Zumba on Sunday. I will run again today a little later and then Zumba Tuesday and Wednesday. I run 2-3 times a week and zumba 1-3 times a week. This last week I also swam laps; I forgot how tiring that can be!I did do a cardio kickboxing DVD a few times while "snowed" in but I could of done more. I need to add weigh training; that is a goal for 2009. What keeps me from it is not feeling comfortable or knowing what to do, afraid of looking "stupid". I did an orientation at theY last year for women using weights but never followed through. I did great with my cardio and started running with a 5 K group and am proud of that but would be very proud of myself if I were to weight train 2x a week in 2009.

Hi all, I haven't posted on this forum until today, so here goes :).
At lunch today, I walked 45 minutes and then climbed 10 flights of stairs to my office. In a couple of minutes, I'm headed over to the Y for 45 minutes of shallow water aerobics.
I've been on-plan all day today with my eating. After the Y, I'm headed out with a friend from the class, and we're going out for a light supper, still on plan for me.
I just signed up for a kickboxing class this coming Saturday morning, after which I will treat myself to a facial/accupressure session at the same club as where the kickboxing will be. That will make me feel great, I'm looking forward to it.
