I hear ya! I quit smoking (this time for good) on Feb 10, 2008.  I know I did not follow the rules, but I was quiting smoking

Anyway, I gained about 12-15 pounds depending on the day.  I also developed bad habits, like waiting for my pouch to empty or eating only foods with high calorie sauces to make them slide down easy.  Water -- Lucky I drank a bottle a day.

So I am cleaning up my act and want to get to wonderland so bad  And I will!  YAY!

lets all try to keep up the good work and check in with each other.  Ann

Completed the 5 day pouch test  YAY!  Doing this test really put a lot of things into perspective and it was a good re-education.  Was I perfect -- No!  I did have two glasses of champagne last night and 3 Christmas cookies, but I am back on the wagon today.

Happy to say, my pouch still works if I eat correctly and follow the rules.  No more slider foods, extra heavy sauces and gravy to help things go down. Back to 3 meals a day, focus on protein first, no snacking etc.

The result -- 3 pounds!  My goal for 2009 is to get to wonderland.  only 22 pounds away, but  I have stayed at the same weight fluctuating between 5 pounds for 2 years now.

Like I said, time to get back on track.  Wish me Luck!
