Today was a boring day. dh has been sick since Christmas Day and I haven't felt much like doing anything. Either I'm bored or I'm coming down with it. I think I missed the majority of this cold but it did get me alittle.

Today's list of food:

Pre B: 24 oz Water with drink mix

B: oatmeal, TVP, soy milk and 1/4 cup dried cherries, coffee

S: 32 oz Powerade (this was NASTY!), 1 oz cheese stick

L: 5 oz tuna, 1 T light Mayo, 2 mini sweet pickles and onion flakes, 16 whole grain crackers

S: 24 oz Water with SoBe Protein Drink Mix

S: 2/3 cup homemade bread pudding
S: 24 oz Water with Drink Mix

D: Mediterranean Chicken Skillet frozen meal

Dessert: Decafe Coffee with Kahula SF Syrup. 10 oz

Not too bad on water either. I did pretty good on that today.

Totals for the day:

Calories: 1430
Fat: 35.5
Carb: 146.9
Protein: 123.1

Actually, all said and done with very little snacking today, I didn't do too bad. How did you do today? High numbers yesterday? You can cut them tomorrow by eating less often and drinking more water..I can hardly believe that the other day I had 2100 calories and today I had 2/3 of that number...AMAZING.

Hi Holli, my daughter's name is Holly...Born at Christmas too. I'm such a geek!

TVP is Textured Vegetable Protein. Made from Soy so sometimes it's called Textured Soy Protein. I get it at the health food store. Sometimes a quarter cup serving is 12 grams of protein or when the chunks are finer, it's 22 grams of protein. It has a sort of nutty flavor but pretty much takes on the flavor of what you cook with it when it's plain. I also found flavored kinds at harmonyhousefoods on line. taco, chicken, ham...I have tried the taco flavor and it's REALLY tasty. I reconstituted it and cooked it into mini quiches...

The unflavored stuff I put on yogurt or on sf pudding. I've eaten it like grape nuts with just a splash of milk and splenda.

LOL. That's pretty clever of your mom...On top of that she's Holly Elizabeth (for several ancestors and relatives) so we call her Holly Beth too. AND she has red hair. Sort of looks like Christmas. LOL. See ya.

LOL. Possible. I'm big into genealogy and Alabama was never in the mix as far as I know but stranger things have happened!

And you started out where I was and you're nearly exactly where I am now. I'm at 129, despite what my signature says. I'm totally in denial on the number.

Wow, Kay. I just noticed your signature and your starting point! That's amazing! I'm so in awe of you. What a great accomplishment. You didn't have that information before, did you? If you did, I'm embarrassed that I didnt' notice before. Ouch.

Awesome list! turkey ff hotdogs? Interesting. I may have to look for those. I'm craving hotdogs or at least sausages lately.  I'm on a mission now to cut out all the bread from my diet cuz I have a feeling that's what's tripping me up.

Keep up the good work. See ya.

Thanks, Dawn! Yep, my starting point was up there so I'm super proud of myself. I've always had that signature, I probably just don't check that lil box on the bottom of the page (include my signature) when I post. I guess i should so I can show off how far I have come.. lol

The FF turkey hotdogs are good and very low in calories. I use to be able to find them at all grocery stores but I was told that they are going to continue to sale only the Low Fat ones that have 5 grams of fat and discontine the FF kind due to low sales.

My daughter had hotdogs for lunch yesterday and I threw my turkey one in the pot but I ended up eating leftovers so I had it for a snack instead. Thanks Again!!
