Well, the district was closed again so I was at home. DH was out of town all day long so it was me and "the boy" all day...And that boy doesn't come out of his room at all...I kept busy, cleaning and laundry and letting the puppy in and out but I had a hard time with the goodies on the counter. I managed to pack up the cookies for the gift bags and stash them away but that apple bread was nagging me so I ate it..Still not bad except for water.

List for the day:

B: oatmeal, tvp, soy protein, soy milk and coffee

S: 24 oz water
S: left over Monterey Chicken meal we had a couple nights ago. 2/3 portion I figure

S: 24 oz water

L: 4 oz cooked shrimp, 1 cup lettuce, 1 oz cheddar cheese, catalina salad dressing

S: 24 oz water,  Apple bread (3 slices)

D: Chicken burger on a bun with jack cheese and mayo and mustard

Bedtime; 16 oz water

Totals for the day:

Calories: 1621
Fat: 52.5
Carbs: 170
Protein: 120.

I didn't do too bad except the water. I need more of it. Oh, and I was diagnosed with Bronchitis while at the doctors office. I have liquid antibotic. The kind you give little ones. Cherry flavor. Oh boy! (sarcastic)

hi no snow days for me dang it i am a dispatcher and we dont get those days. they would just send someone to get me. But i have a 4x4 so no big deal for me. so sorry that you are not feeling well. hope it gets better. you have a long vacation. that is great. so you still have snow. We still have some too.

You ate next to nothing! I'd say 94 ounces of fluids is quite a bit...I count the coffee but I usually get in a whole lot more to cover the coffee..

I wish we still had the snow..The sunshine took care of that for us. Now things are just soggy but at least the sun is shining...

Still, a good list with the water. What sort of dispatcher are you? Paramedic?

I do it all fire,EMS and Sheriff. We also help the jail with the booking process. i work for the Inyo Co Sheriff. we are not so soggy yet but we will be in no time. Still have some in the shady areas.

why yes i do seems somedays i dont have one min to myself and the next i am snacking all day. I have a down fall though we get feed really well here. we are also the jail for the co and they feed us B,L,and D. and also give us treats all the time. Up side we all the bottle water we can drink and coffee tea and CL to. so were are you from.

Same for me. Our department is housed (temporarily) in a community center. They have an after school program so the ladies that work with it are always offering us soda/treats, etc. They also cook out there and it's always fast/easy/microwave stuff so rarely is it healthy. I try to bring my own but it's hard to eat healthy on the go.
The worst part is the 12 hour shifts. Especially on day's like today, boredom= mindless eating at times. The upside- being able to get online and read the forums. Downside - desk job.
I live in Prestonsburg KY (East ky) and work in Martin Ky.

yes the stuff they cook here is not very good for post WLS like today chili mac. and cookies and white bread. i am very sorry for eating lunch today i am very sick now and i only ate just a few bites of everything. we all have a locker and we can bring things but i usually just eat what they make it is just easy and fast. today is a slow day and all i wanted to do till lunch was snack. and will now all i wish is could do is lay down. that's what i get for eating all those carbs. i usually dont dump but it seems that in the last few days everything makes me sick.

You got snow, I got sunshine.. it was 72 yesterday. I'm still weating jeans and short sleeves.

Breakfast:
2 scrambled eggs w/ cheese & 2 strips of turkey bacon

Snack:
South Beach diet protein cereal bar

Lunch:
1 Cup of White bean chicken chili

Snack:
NSA Yogart & Small coconut cookie

Dinner:
2.5 oz cubed steak & 1/2 an ear of corn on the cob

Snack:
2 % Cheese stick

Later on with friends... 2 light beers & 10 (yes, i counted) pretzels.

We had snow laying around on Friday and it melted pretty darn fast..Today there is a cold wind but it's sunny out...Love the sunshine.

Your list looks really good even with two light beers. LOL> I thought I was the only one that counted pretzels! I count Doritos too...And shrimp. Party at my brother's house tonight. I'm hoping he'll have something I can eat otherwise, I'll be having a SoBe meal replacement bar and leaving early cuz of the gas it causes. LOL.
