I'm 3 yr post op (RNY) and been going up and down the same 15lbs for 2 years.
I've been reading a lot about detoxing your body and haw it helps your body in rejuivination.
But can we do a colon clease system.
I've been looking at DrFloras.com

If you wouldn't mind letting me know if you do this I would appreciate it.  I've been thinking about doing one also and I wasn't sure about it.

Thanks,
Loni

I have done one in the past and felt great after but this was a couple years prior to my WLS and the results seemed to be temporary.   I was actually considering doing one again but after some research I've found that a colon cleanse can acutally destroy good bacteria in your digestive tract.  I was also worried how my reenginered system would handle one. Seems like lots of mixed info on the topic.

Here is another post about it......

I had also been looking at some detox type meal plans because I've been so off track the last year and over the holiday season. I abandoned that as well. Instead I just went back to the basics.. exercise, taking my vitamins, sensible eating, and tracking both in fitday.com.  I added back in EAS LITE RTD protein shake 1x a day as well. So far so good.
