Yum!  I can't even remember the last time I had an english muffin! I usually have to put on my blinders and avoid the bread aisle...I'm a big time bread abuser!  LOL

You can find TVP in the upper scale grocery stores that have a health food section...In my area (Wash DC)  most of the stores have upgraded to healthier foods...I remember there used to be an entire tobacco aisle which ironically sold large gallon size tubs of LARD in the same aisle!! LOL  That was not too long ago!  I used to buy it to make soap ...but folk around here cook with it!  UGH!

You made me hungry now...and I will not rest until I've had one of those egg muffins!  I actually use the Nature's Own Bread too, when I do buy bread!   I've been using Low carb tortillas a lot lately...  I use them to make healthy pizza too...using veggies and goat /other cheeses...Another endless variety of flavors...They make decent roll up sandwiches too with just lunch meat...Or I will make fajitas and throw them on my panini press for a grilled roll up...without using any oils or butter to grill...The cheeses melt and hold it all together!  And I use Greek Yogurt in place of sour cream because it comes low or no fat and is LOADED with protein...Tastes just like sour cream to me and my family too...Cooks well too!

This is fun sharing ideas...I love to eat and I love food...but ultimately I LOVE eating healthy...and that can be challenging at times!  Thank you for your awesome ideas and posts!  I love reading what you have to say!

Low fat/ Low carb Tortilla wraps by "La Tortilla Factory"

Check out these numbers!
80 cals
14 fiber
8 protein
3 fat

(There is a fat free version too!) But a little fat gives these wraps a better flavor.
They are not as yummy as corn tortillas, I admit, but I enjoy them knowing I am eating something good for me and my family...I have even cut them up and baked one as a serving of chips with hummus or a yogurt dip (mix  greek yogurt with Knorrs veggie package and use plain or add thawed chopped spinach and artichokes canned in brine not oil!)
