Hi folks, I know it's been awhile. I've had a tough couple of months but managed to maintain my weight within a 5lb. range. Right now, I'm simply learning to manage compulsive behaviors*. It's my hope to start holding myself accountable again while I have a short break from school, so here goes:

B: Glucerna mini snack bar and a banana

L: 2 scrambled eggs and some toast

S: protein cookie

D: 8 small shrimp, 1/3 cup of rice

S: whole wheat "sugar" cookie. (It was made with agave and no processed flour, so it's really not that evil)

Aside from the toast and the rice, I'm pretty pleased with myself. My goals for the week are to:
A. get back off of any white flour or any other processed grains
B. protein levels above 70 grams every day

*Part of my therapy is learning to be okay with myself not making perfect plans all of the time. I appreciate the constructive criticism that goes around in this thread and don't expect anyone to sugar(splenda)coat it when I'm eating poorly. Please understand, however that my focus right now is just on being okay with doing my best. I promise you that I consider every piece of advice and support offered. Thanks.

Good goals! Those white carbs are killers. The more you eat them, the more you want them. It's a vicious cycle. And protein higher is always a great goal. That's awesome!

I'll be sure and tell you when you're not up to specs..I try and be nice about it.

If you have a recipe for that "sugar" cookie...that'd be really cool to have. I have a recipe for sugar free marshmallows myself.

Keep up the good work. See ya!

Wow! that carb number is SO LOW and the protein number is so high...That's amazing. Plus all the aerobics.

I don't think the brat habit is at bad with those numbers. Keep up the good work. See ya.
