3+years out
I am a VERY HAPPY WLS graduate!!! I had lap band surgery in Jan of 05. I lost almost 130lbs and this september had a lower body lift.....I am loving life!!! I am having pretty bad reflux and have been diagnosed with having band slippage but luckily I have time to redo my surgery and to have insurance cover it this time around.
What is amazing to me is that I was more willing to deal with a stomach that errodes than to have them take and leave off my lapband!! Is that crazy??? I just CAN NOT go back to what I was before!!!!
Surgery was the best decision I ever made!!!!!! Thanks to all of you guys for the support that I needed during my decision making and immediate post-op period!!
Much Love,
Yasie

Congratulations!
I'm just curious; since you've had band slippage and erosion, would you consider a revision to the RNY with with minimallu bypassed intestines or the vertical sleeve?
Again, congratulations on your weight loss!
I have two sides to my brain - a right side and a left side. The trouble is sometimes there is nothing left in the right side and nothing right in the left side.
