Accountability - Sunday

So today we went to church and to breakfast but after picking up some supplies for making cookies for gift baskets, we called a lady who needed to find a home for her puppy...So now I have a new baby in the house. We have named him Peppy. He's Lhaso Apso/Chihuahua...Weighs just over 3 pounds! Dexter posted his pictures.

Consequently, baking and puppy watching, I haven't eaten enough. Even with eating three chocolate chip cookies...I know I promised myself I would only have two but I had three...Frankly, I'm glad cuz I needed the calories. And NO, I don't dump...sadly.

Today:

B: oatmeal, tvp, soy protein, soy milk

2B: 2 eggs, 3 oz sirloin steak, home fries with peppers and onions...

Lunch: 24 oz SoBe Protein Drink Mix, 2 chocolate chip cookies (I did stop at two)

D: Monterey Ranch Chicken Gourmet Meal (1/4 of the package)

Dessert: 1 more cookie.

Totals for the day:
Calories: 1284
Fat: 54.4
Carbs: 101.2
Protein: 105.2

Not too bad for a low day. Too much stuff going on. peanut butter cookies coming out my ears. dh made chocolate chip cookies and I made Apple Strudel too...The baskets are going to be to die for...LOL. Time to head for bed!

This is what I ate today-- 1203 calories-- 31g fat-  110g carbs- 124 g protein-- a typical day, except that on a truly typical day I am too busy eating to take pictures! :) About 41% protein.

I also drank a bunch of delicious Matte Chocolatte tea, and raspberry lemonade sugar free slushies-- my favorite!

Post Op RNY eating doesn't have to be about deprivation or starvation if you put your mind to it!

I know I eat alot better now than I did before RNY...More varied diet except for breakfast...LOL.

Your pictures are making me hungry! And the numbers rock! My protein percentage fall off on the weekends. I think yesterday it was 24%...I'll do better today.

Keep up the good work. See ya.

Well, I'm a believer in what you crave is what you need. There must be something in the fried onions that you need..

Looks like your list was good and your day was good...Keep up the good work.

Keep up the good work. See ya.

Well, one day of not exercising isn't going to sink the ship...Tomorrow is another day...

The nuts and peanut butter are really good...One silly little snack of brats, still not bad.

Keep up the good work and hit the exercise tomorrow! See ya.
