carb nauseous spriral
When I go off the reservation and have really carby food, I begin to feel nauseous but at that point the thought of putting protein in my stomach really makes my stomach turn. I think because I still have a bit of a challenge digesting solid protein. So I end up in a downward spiral eating crackers that I think will settle my stomach, but it doesn't. And I find it really hard to get back into protein.
I had a Gastric sleeve done in 01/08. Can any one relate or have suggestions? Obviously I'd be better off not eating anything carby forever, but please.....
Party days with carb heavy meals and chips, etc. make me feel very tired, lethargic and run down. It takes a day or two of "clean living" to feel better again.
I use it as a reminder that I was not eating properly and inspiration to return to normal. I keep telling myself: "You felt like garbage yesterday, do you really want the left over cake and feel like crap again?"
