Oh those snickers...I'd be really in trouble. I actually baked cookies today and hubby said they were really good. I'm making them to put in gift boxes for the kids so I have to have someone test them for me. That's either my son or my husband. He raved about them so much that I had to try one. Darn it. And they have nuts. I'm allergic to walnuts and pecans. It's only a matter of time before almonds get me. These had almonds. I could feel the sides of my tongue erupt...So those are safe for now.

Have a good turkey day tomorrow...Stay away from the snickers! LOL. See ya.

I did not have agreat eating day. We started out on a dat trip to Port Townsend(maybe you have visited there since your daughter lives in Port Orchard). I knew my daughter had bruised her big toe playing yesterday but it only got worse by the time we got there she could hardly walk on it. We had lunch since we were already there, looked in a few shops on the way back to the car and the doctors office. Luckily her pediatricians office has weekend hours, we got the last slot at 4:20. They think it is fractured in her toe joint, we had to go to the hospital for x-rays and still are awaiting a phone call. If the joint is fx she needs to see a orthopedist if it is fx elsewhere they can just let it heal on its own. Just got home had some leftovers from Wednesday and am off to bed after some teas as I am short on water again today. I do fine during the week but the weekends are another story.
B-scranbled eggs w/ ham and cheese, 1 slice low carb toast
S-crustless SF pumpkin pie-small piece
S-in the car cheese and crackers, apple slices
L-2/3 of a hamburger patty with cheese, no bun and a few fries
S-beef jerky and a regular size cookie
S-at the hospital waiting fpr x-ray 1/2 PBJ on wheat
D-leftover steak from the keg and 1/2 c potatoes
s-1/2 piece sf crustless pumpkin pie- now it is gone!
Too many carbs but made decent choices and tried to bring healthy car snacks. No exercise walked a little in town at Port Townsend but it was not aerobic!

I completely understand. I hope it's not a break but a sprain or strain can feel much worse.

I also understand about the water and weekends. I'm having a terrible time getting any water in at all.

Still, the list looks pretty good. Not aerobic but the stress was enough for you, that's for sure!

Keep after it. See ya.

You did really good.  Good sources of protein! I love those SoBe pizzas. Amazing they can have that much protein in them!

Did you know you can add protein powder to your pack of instant grits? I started doing that with Malto Meal a year or so ago and now add protein to my oatmeal too. The malto meal, I got the regular and put chocolate protein powder in and it sort of reminded me of the chocolat malto meal...Not exactly but close enough!

Glad you and doggy got out for some walking..For me, rain means olympic class house cleaning..I sweat more from that than a jog!

If you journal your food on fitday they have a pie chart there that will show you how much protein you are taking in. I use that to stay at or below 30%.

I sometimes have my calorie level that high but it averages out to about 1700 a day with up and down during the week and what I'm doing. If I do aerobics I crave a few carbs cuz they give my body quick energy fuel.

Good list and great numbers!

To my surprise, fit day shows my protein at around 33% and the highest is fat at 55%.  I need to change that!

The shock is that in spite of the high calories, the scale is moving in the right direction!
Guess my doctor was right (go figure)... no whites, no sugar, no fast foods, and at least 1 hour of exercise a day.  170 here I come!

Thanks for your encouragement... it really helps a lot.

Have a great Sunday!

Denise
