To those of you who have lost a lot of weight and have the skin to show for it... How does that work in new relationships??? Did you avoid said relationships until plastic surgery? If you were honest about it, how did your partner react?!?!
I can't imagine taking my clothes off in front of anyone right now, even the mirror!

I dated while losing and before PS. I was worried about it but it turns out extra skin was not an issue. I am not sure but I think most guys don't mind if we are not perfect.

I have lost over 100 lbs and with all the skin, I look in the mirror and I see myself as still fat. However, when it comes to relationships and getting nekkid in front of a new man/woman, I don't think our partners are so interested in looking at us as they are in just being intimate and close.

I wear panties that cover the apron and I try not to think about what my husband sees when he looks at me. I know he loves me and he is really turned on by my new body, even if it does have some excess skin. If you are in a relationship that is serious and loving, it shouldn't matter. If it is really bothering you, be creative and think of things to do that detours the attention to something else of interest instead of looking at your body.

My current BF and I have been together almost 2 years. We started out very casual and I didnt tell him about the surgery until after we had been dating a while and he had seen me naked many times. In my mind I kept thinking that this guy must be wondering whats wrong with me or why my body is so flubby but he didnt even blink when I told him about the surgery... guys just dont think like us women do, they are happy with a nakey woman no matter what lol.
So its really a matter of what you are comfortable with... if I waiting for PS to have a realtionship Id proally be single forever... I dont have 40K handy lol, maybe one day! Eitherway if you find the right guy it shouldnt be an issue at all IMO.
