Hi Grads,

I just had surgery the 19th and they actually had to go back in the 21st and see where bledding was coming from.  All good now and home but I wanted to ask you grads if you can remember that far back and let me know when you finally get some energy.  I feel fine laying down but when I walk across house i feel lightheaded?

Thanks for your advise?

You might not want to hear this, but it took about three months for me.  But it is well worth it.  Your body is recovering from a major overhaul and lifechanging re-structure.  Be kind to yrouself, push yourself when you can, and rest when you need to.

hugs, Ruth

Hi,

Well, you just had major surgery!  It takes while for the body to heal.  Hang in there, get your rest and you will be ok.

I had my surgery open so it took me awhile~probably about 12 weeks before I was completely back to normal. I can remember at about 8wks out I went to Walmart for the first time with my husband~it felt SO good to get out, but I could only make it like 20 mins, LOL!!! On the flip side I have a friend that had surgery laproscopically 2 weeks ago and she's doing great~Lots of energy and feeling fine, so ya just never know! I hope you're feeling better soon!!!!!!!
