OT Suggestions for a facial cleansing/moisturizing products?

Hi,
I'm 53 years old and noticing wrinkles growing deeper and deeper. Common sense tells me there's nothing topical that really can help. I think for a Christmas gift I may ask for  this type of thing. Any suggestions on a brand name?

According to the research I've read, Oil of Olay Regenerist is suppose to be better then most of the more expensive creams. With that said it can be a bit harsh (i have sensitive skin)......you might want to try Botox if you are worried about lines....creams by themselves won't make wrinkles go away.

WHAT???? Cookie monsters like to look good too!!! lol

I have always used Mary Kay products and really think they are great.  I don't think anything will take them away but maybe reduce the appearance of lines.  Maybe you could try getting a free skin care class from Mary Kay and see how you like it.

My sister who works for a derm says to get a good moisterizer and use it day and night. That botox is not worth it in her opinion, its the loss of collegen as we age and that equals elasticity. Keeping the moisture in can give the wrikles a lift try an eye treatment cream around the eyes but I use oil of olay daily moisterizer with spf 15 its the only one that does not seem to have that sticky sun screen feel to it.

There's really nothing that reverses wrinkles....but you can slow them down significantly...One way is to not sleep on your face...Try to sleep on your back to prevent your face from creasing!  I sleep with my hands under my chin on my side to where my face never touches the pillow...It's something I have worked on mastering! LOL...My mom and I both were waking up with face creases and they seemed to take longer and longer to go away....Mom's got really deep really fast!  Then again she smokes...I don't...She drinks...I don't ****assionally)...She lives in florida sun and doesn't waer sun screen...I wear sun screen and hats if I have to in the sun...I do not let the sun get my face neck or chest... ... I wear sunblock moisturizers even in the winter (use bronzers for fake color).  Stay hydrated.  EXFOLIATE!!!! 

I use Oil of Olay Regenerist  facial scrub daily on my face, neck and upper chest...NO SOAP ON MY FACE!  It has micro beads for exfoliating and acids to remove dead skin.  Then I have several of my fav face creams...I love the "All Firm" from Kohls Dept stores.  It has SF 15 and pearly glowing stuff in it that makes your skin look so alive and even toned. I just love the stuff.. So much that I keep a container in each bathroom including my powder room.....I recently began using an old favorite that I ran out of and stopped buying because it was hard to find...But I found it again at Vit Shoppe and bought some and was very pleased with the results again!  It's Organic Avalon with Co Q10 enzyme...I use the daily wrinkle serum and the wrinkle lotion together...and I can really see a difference when I put it on...It reminds me very much of the Kohl's stuff I use...It really is similar even in price...

I still love Neutrogena night creme with copper for sleeping too.  None of these are very expensive creams...I have some of those too like Stryvectin SD which at first I thought was awesome and honestly see no huge difference from my other fav cremes except the price! ..I always seem to go back to my favs...For body cremes I use firming cremes too...Aveeno Natural Actives with copper and Nuetrogena with CO- Q10....I switch back and forth depending on which scent I want (both have very soft nice smells that don't over power or change my perfume scents)...and again neither is very expensive..

Just suggestions...You can sample the cremes at Kohls without buying them first!  They have all kinds of new stuff, but I still like the "ALL Firm".

I use a daily cleanser from Olay.  It's in a green bottle.  I don't remember the name but its a cream.  I used Estee Lauder for five years and this one took its place.  I love it.  I use Olay moisturizer also.  And have heard great things about the Regenerist and did try it once. It creates a silk effect on your face, makes it soft and your makeup goes on better.  So evidently there are others who like it too from what I hear & read...  Olay seems to really have come out with some new great products this past year or two...
