hi

im sorry u are going thru such a bad time.  i think you just need to get back to basics and do whatever you did in the beginning that was working for you

when you say meat are you talking beef?? or all meat.  i eat mostly chicken and seafood, shrimp works real well for me.

what about cottage cheese and yogurt or veggie proteins, like beans?  they all work as far as weight loss.

as to your knees, i sympathize, i had both replaced a few years ago, and thankfully that went well for me.  do you take anything for the pain??

are you drinking enough fluids??  thats important also, and helps with the weight loss

its good that you are posting again and i hope you can push yourself back on track.

be safe and well, jacki

well if you are military I can understand my hubby just ret from USAF ,so I kow how alone you feel we moved also from everyone I had surgery with & a great support system so now I feel like I am all on my own I have put back on weight so now even more down about my self,2 weeks ago I started going to Curves & I am here to say in 2 weeks I have not lost any weight but I can fit in clothes I could not before so I know I am losing inches again so if 2 weeks can do this I am sticking with it ,the work out is very low inpack if you can not move very much you should give it a try alot of Curves out there have trial periods & in know way I work there so this is not a sales pitch best of luck

I'm so sorry you're having such a hard time. Getting back to basics is key~pushing protein first, no drinking with meals and 30/30 before and after yet getting in at least 64oz of liquids daily, vits and exercise, whatever you are able to do. Instead of meat how about cottage cheese, greek yogurt, etc to get some good protein in. Also, do you use protein shakes? If you want to try a liquid plan here's the link to the 5dpt~ http://www.5daypouchtest.com/

I think sometimes just getting in the right frame of mind helps to get everything else back in line. Don't give up~You CAN do this!!!!

with the right PT that should fix it.  I had that and the first P.T. was NOT doing the right treatments.  When the doctor had me show him what they had me doing he was  so upset.  He told me not to go back there and he sent me to this other place with a P.T. he knew.  Wow what a difference.  With the right P.T.  it stopped hurting and I was able to walk again.  This was before I had the surgery.  so he was good.
I still must do the bike and the other excerises he had me do because if I don't it will start to hurt.  So there's no getting lax with it.

Good luck.
