2month stall?

Hi all! I am officially a WLS Grad :)

I have a question I am hoping to have answered. I have not lost any weight in 2 months + now. It's like I hit the year mark, and stopped. Is this normal? When do we know that we have stopped losing for good? I am not doing anything different food wise (still eating as I should), and I exercise regularly. Any tips? I still have about 30 pounds I would like to lose.  Has anyone else had a stall lasting this long? I am thrilled with my efforts thus far, and I don't want to take away from my achievment, but gosh, I read about so many others who have lost so much more. What am I doing wrong? Will I reach goal? I know I shouldn't compare, but just want to be sure I am not missing something. Thanks for reading and any advice.

I didn't completely stop at 1yr out, but it did slow way down. I continued to lose slowly after that and can still lose weight when I'm really strict and follow all the rules. I don't think you're done if you don't want to be. Just keep eating right and exercising and you'll get to your goal! Do you journal your calories and/or exercise at somewhere like thedailyplate.com? This has always helped to give me a clear picture of exactly what I'm doing at any given time. Good Luck to you and don't give up!

Thanks for responding. No, I haven't done the daily plate, but think it may be time to start journaling. Thanks for your encouragment :)

Change it up.  Add, or subtract calories and up your exercise.  Are you weight lifting (training) it is a well known fact that muscle will continue to burn calories long after the burn is gone.  It requires more fuel to keep those muscles going.  It is not at all unusual to hit peaks and valleys on this road.

No, I am not "weight lifting" though I do use weights.  I have considered starting a more formal weight lifting regimen as most of the weight is now off and still need to do some toning. Thank you for responding. I appreciate your advice.
