No, I didn't Wii but I had a good excuse..I had my allergy shots and I'm suppose to stay away from all aerobic exercise for two hours afterwards. Doubtful that it's actually aerobic but that's my excuse and we're stuck with it. LOL.

An hour of Zumba, that's AWESOME...

When I have a stressful day it's hard for me to eat just a few of those SF cookies...Then I get sick and then I get mad at myself.

I know it has been a while since I have posted my food but I have been keeping track.  Yesterday was a low calorie day
B1-protein coffee
B2-2 eggs with shreaded cheese on it.  Cooked in the micro.
Then I just kept eating little snacks I really didn't want to eat lunch.
south beach bar
banana
planters daybreak blend-granola
pear
D-Alive and Active frozen dinner from aldi's. These are my new find, yummy and cheap.
Later-carmal corn with peanuts.
water all through the day.
I walked 2 miles and lifted weights for 45 minutes.  Not enough calories.
cal-1371
protein-72 oops
I will do better today and try to get on here and post more.  Thanks all and have  agreat day!  Penni

Sometimes I feel more motivated to eat a bunch of snacks than a whole meal. Not really a problem occasionally.

Yeah, you could have had more calories to support all that activity. Thursday you'll have to pour on the food. That could help.

Glad to see you back. Keep up the good work. See ya.

Good morning, Dawn.  Had a good day yesterday. I eat so much better when I'm home. I don't have the urge to eat, graze like I do when I'm at work.  When I'm at work, I put so much thought into doing right, that I do wrong! I'm going to try and be good today. It's my birthday and everyone want to have cake, go out for drinks and dinner.

Early AM:
2 cups of coffee

Breakfast:
1 egg scrambled with cheese
3 breakast turkey sausage links
1 whole wheat english muffin with no cal spray butter

Snack

Lunch:
2 slices of 2% cheese
1 slice of turkey
2 slices of lite wheat bread

Snack:
2 slices of pork roast

Dinner: (leftovers)
1 slice of pork roast
2 stuffed cabbage rolls

Now for me, being back at work keeps me from eating. We have a candy machine but I'm too cheap to put money into it and I rarely have coinage to do that anyway...So what I bring with me is what I eat. I have so little to choose from that I'm stuck...At home, I have my head in that fridge all (seemingly) day long and I'm snack happy...Too many choices at home.

I have to do some cabbage rolls...I wonder if they freeze well? I could make a whole bunch of them and freeze them in like a three pack...so I could take them for lunches...yum.

Hubby has a roast on in the crock pot today so I'm already devouring it in my head. LOL.

Your list is always an inspiration to me...Keep up the good work. See ya!

I know that many of you are supplementing with protein shakes every day, have read on this board that we MUST supplement with these shakes in order to get the right amount of protein. My surgeon has told me to not have the shakes and to get my protein from food in order to not get too many calories. I am struggling with figuring this whole thing out!  I have to admit though, while I was drinking the shakes over the past few months, my weight loss completely stalled. Now that I'm only getting my protein from food, I've started losing again. I have no idea how to find the right balance. I know this is a controversial topic and I'm learning as I go. Anyway, here's what I had yesterday:
2 americanos with half and half
lots of herbal tea
1 c. greek yogurt with splenda
crustless quiche, (onion, ham, Chinese broccoli)
low-carb southwestern beef stew
beef/cabbage goulash
microwave SF protein pumpkin cake

My surgeon told me not to supplement my protein either. That's part of the reason that I go overboard with my protein numbers each day. I'm well over 100 grams a day on my protein and I get 95% of that from just food. I do add soy protein to my oatmeal in the mornings...Some people are afraid of too much soy and I don't know the reasons but I am not exclusively ingesting soy or vegetarian either so I can't say if it's harming me or not. I tend to think everything in moderation can't hurt me too bad.

Some people in our local support group say we MUST have shakes but I don't think that's true. It can't be that cut and dried. Some are saying we will forever mal absorb but then if that's the case, no one who stays at the same caloric intake for the rest of their lives would gain any "bounce back" weight at all. My BS meter works overtime sometimes..LOL.

You're right. it is a controversial subject. Better minds than mine have debated the issue and I just want to do what I have to do, without controversay but WITH success...

You have to do what is right for you and be diligent abou****ching the results and trends...If what you are doing seems to be causing a trend in the wrong direction, you have to be ready to switch gears and head the other way...LOL.
