Yeah, you could have had more calories to support all that activity. Thursday you'll have to pour on the food. That could help.
Glad to see you back. Keep up the good work. See ya.

My surgeon told me not to supplement my protein either. That's part of the reason that I go overboard with my protein numbers each day. I'm well over 100 grams a day on my protein and I get 95% of that from just food. I do add soy protein to my oatmeal in the mornings...Some people are afraid of too much soy and I don't know the reasons but I am not exclusively ingesting soy or vegetarian either so I can't say if it's harming me or not. I tend to think everything in moderation can't hurt me too bad.
Some people in our local support group say we MUST have shakes but I don't think that's true. It can't be that cut and dried. Some are saying we will forever mal absorb but then if that's the case, no one who stays at the same caloric intake for the rest of their lives would gain any "bounce back" weight at all. My BS meter works overtime sometimes..LOL.
You're right. it is a controversial subject. Better minds than mine have debated the issue and I just want to do what I have to do, without controversay but WITH success...
You have to do what is right for you and be diligent abou****ching the results and trends...If what you are doing seems to be causing a trend in the wrong direction, you have to be ready to switch gears and head the other way...LOL.
