I am 13 months out and still loosing weight.  I thought I would stop around the one year mark and boy was I wrong.  I have gone from 255 to 132.  Today I lost another pound.  I eat all the time, but not alot - however I am still loosing.  Anyone 13 months out and still loosing weight?

I lost until the 20th month post-op. I was losing slowly, thats for sure, but I did continue to lose until the end of month 20.
I went from 248, day of surgery, to 148. Way, way too low!! Pic on my profile. It's the one where I look completely anorexic!!! Yuck!!!! I bounced back to 160, almost right away and stayed between 160 and 168 for 3 years. Lately I've put on about 15 more and I hate it! I'm now in the process of getting back down to my "perfect weight" of 165. Sigh.......the battle never ends.....

I lost until about 18mths post op. I think it truly depends on how much weight you needed to lose overall. I have found that the body will pick a point and decide that's where it wants to be. Most people drop down 5-10extra pounds and then over the next year or 2 bounce back a few pounds and then settle in. Congratulations to you on all of your success!!!!!!

I lost for 16 months. My high weight was 340. I went from 310 to 125. That was too thin for me, but I popped back up 10 pounds in no time, so I'm glad I had a little cushion there.

I am still on a roll and lose about 1 lb. every 6 weeks if I'm not careful.  When I start dropping I reduce my cardio and up my weight lifting to balance my muscle and nurishment needs.   IMHO I don't believe we have to stop but many do when they forget the lifestyle changes they were encouraged to follow.

Im 14 1/2 months out and still lost 5 lbs this month.  I started at 291 and now i'm 135.  I love it...I'monly 5'2.  my NP says 135  is my perfect weight....Now i'm like you I feel like I eat all the time....But I know I am making better choices on what I put in my  mouth...I need smaller more frequent meals than 3 per day.

This makes me feel better about still loosing weight at 13 months out.  I guess my body thinks that I finally need to be thin.  :)  Wish my skin would go away too...  but I guess no body told my skin to take a hike.  LOL

At 13 months you can still lose. You need to know that after 2-3 years, losing isn't as easy for most people. Those who eat a lot trying to stop losing the first 2 years sometimes find they are eating too much for someone 2-3 years out, and gain.
This is a tricky business! I am now over 3 years out and lost several pounds in the third year. I have been working to stop, and now have gained a couple back. That always makes me nervous, even though that was my plan. I think the line netween losing and maintaining is hard to see.
If you want to stop losing, you most likely have to increase simple carbs like bread, pasta, rice and potatoes. Go slow and see how much it really takes. When people eat more carbs, they also tend to retain more fluid, and seem to gain. So if you see a 2-3 pound jump within 1-2 days, it's usually water weight.
Good luck with this.
