Accountability - Saturday.

Friday night I slept 10 straight hours...From 7 pm Friday night to 5 am Saturday morning. Took down all the Halloween decorations too. We went to American Way Thrift Store and I bought 5 more skirts, 2 dresses, a top and another pair of jeans. Spent $17.44 but I had to go through the stuff in my closet and put away all the summer stuff and bring out the winter stuff...Not a bad day for it, it's been raining all day and cold. We lost power two or three times and must have gotten about an inch of rain, judging by the river running down the driveway.

My list of foods today. I'm just alittle short on water, that's all

Oatmeal, TVP, soy protein, soy milk, coffee

2/3 of a 3 egg omelet with spinach, mushrooms and tomatoes (IHOP, good stuff)

1 oz cheese stick and 1 pc cotto salami

1 sugar free peanut butter cookie

1.5 cups of home made chili with black beans and ground up left over pork..yumo.

Totals for the day:

Calories: 1604
Fat: 72.7
Carbs: 131
Protein": 121.6

Not bad. Not one piece of candy touched me! I had one single sugar free cookie. I took two out but could only eat one...I guess I've learned to listen to what my pouchy says...No ignoring pouchy. She gets CROUCHY..LOL

How are you doing this weekend? Nice to be at home and in front of the fire with a big cuddly bear.. No kids at home and I have hubby all to myself!

I just finished 24 hours of eating freely-- had planned to for months-- I have planned "freedom" holidays-- I always learn from them, catch up on some yummy stuff I had been craving, and look forward to gettiing back on plan! It's not for everyone, but it works for me.

Halloween night (from 5pm on) I had:

a piece of a Kit Kat
a Reese's cup
half a caramel apple
2 tortilla chips
a 6 ounce steak
a piece of a quesadilla
1/2 a chopped salad
broiled mushrooms
2 bites of sweet potato
and almost half a piece of carrot cake!

I was stuffed to the gills, in a bad way.

Today I had:
some cheese and meat samples, and a tiny chocolate peanut cookie
leftover chopped salad
2 pc of quesadilla
1 sf chocolate covered peanut
salad with chicken and cheese (no dressing)
cup of frozen yogurt (62 cals)
3 oz ham loaf and rest of sweet potato
cup of frozen yogurt with soy krispies

Back to regular counting and behaving in the morning-- I'm ready! Looking forward to less carbs and more protein! Next holiday is Thanksgiving!

I highly suspect that sugar doesn't bother me anymore (I ate some regular caramel and felt NOTHING on Friday) so Ithink I may just have to adopt your FREE EATING DAY...And mark the calendar for, say, Thanksgiving for my first trial. If I get sick, I guess they come off the calendar.

I really don't think you did all that bad, but I've been tempted by those things. I'm just afraid that if I put a mini candy in my mouth the rest of the evening will be hugging the toilet and then sleeping it off...LOL

I must confess I did the same thing as Jupiter 6.  With all the goodies laying around I just couldn't help myself, so I called it my "Just Do It Day."

Coffee
Fried Fish w/ cold pork & beans
Chocolate Protein Shake
Subway 6" Turkey Hoagie on Wheat
Fried Fish w /salad
Grapes
Mini Tootsie Rolls
Mary Janes
Cheeze-It's
Chocolate Protein Shake
Vegetable Soup

I sprang forward now I'm ready to fall back, now that its out of my system.

I did that too with leftovers from the office party. We participate in the senior's class at church and I had two dozen mini cupcakes left from the office party...So I took those in to the class. I didn't want to take the caramel apples but I have plans for those too. I'm gonna chop them up and toss them in the filling that I have for a NSA apple pie filling. I have a frozen pie crust and I'll just bake that up.

You did good!
