Hope your hubby is seeing better now. Mine is doing okay...we just keep following up on his doctor's appts. and it keeps us very busy. I on the other hand am starting my iron IV infusions again  Thurs. It only dropped from 200 to 68  over the last yr (which is good for me) Dr.  wants me back up since I am having issues with breast lesion which my insurance is giving me a hard time about having an MRI, after mam and ultrasound, so I just appealed for an independent review. My fractured shoulder...oops don't think you knew about that, was found accidently because of arm pain I had been having since  before breast lift/reduction in 2006, well I am finally going to get some therapy on that situation but I think the arm pain my have something to do with the breast...will see. That fracture shows old but I may have hurt it when I socked him in the chest when he had the heart attack June 07...not sure.Other than that all is good...holding weight and height (for now) LOL

See? You shouldn't go socking him so hard. LOL. When my dh fell off a ladder a couple summers ago he went and had an x-ray...Seems he didn't break it that time but the time before that, when it didn't hurt, THAT'S when it was broken...Go figure. a sprain hurts worse than a break...

I know for sure I fractured it in the early 90's, fell out of any elevator...was lower then floor and I was reading mail...shame on me but fractured shoulder foot and knee...I was a mess for 2 yrs and couldn't sue since I was an owner in the condo building...my luck eh? It went away for a long time but I distinctly remember telling the p.s. to be careful of my arms and shoulder before he knocked me out before reduction/lift...that was 2006, been suffering everyday since then, I must have just aggravated it more when I punched Frank but good that i did or he wouldn't be here today. Make sure you can careful at all times...don't fall in your 40's thats when you start to get brittle.

I was just looking at a post I made to you right after hurricane but I don't think you saw it...it was on La board. I have missed coming here so I am going to make time to come and read the board.

Wow 4 yrs, it seemed to  have flown by. You know that old saying the older you get the faster time goes by...really starting to believe it. Dana your hair looks great in the newest pic, its getting lighter and longer...you look so young...well you are compared to me!!!
Really have missed you and Dawn...wonder how our Captain Carla is?

Hi Dawn, I haven't had much time lately to post but had read you where in Hawaii, didn't realize your daughter was getting married there, how romantic.  Your daughter is gorgeous, I  know you are proud of her and you look lovely yourself.

Gorgeous pictures, definitely great memories for everyone.

Thank you...We are relieved that it's all over now. The reception and the wedding and all the junk that goes with it. I could write a book and if it wasn't so stressful, it would be funny...

I really enjoyed these beautiful photos!  My daughter is getting married next Aug., so I am obsessed w/ other people's wedding experiences!  Although I know my daughter's wedding will be beautiful (as was my other daughter's 2 yrs. ago, as well as my son's 9 yrs. ago), I'm afraid our location in southern IL will definitely not compare with your daughter's wedding!!!!!

Very, very gorgeous pictures of everyone--thanks so much for sharing!  What could be more breath-taking than a bride & groom wading in the ocean??!!

Always,
Jo

It was a long LONG stressful year for us. It all started in December when we bought the plane tickets and then the airline went under. Then we replaced the tickets and placed a deposit on the hall. When the plane trip came to be, the four bridal party people I bought tickets for missed the plane (had to come the NEXT day) then we got a call from the people we left our dog with that he was killed. The people we rented the hall from informed us that they had double booked and so we would be moved to the "front room" which was nice for "the bar." The decorations came together but I noticed in alot of the videos and pictures of the reception the big screen television was on in the background and there were bar flies watching the football (stinkin) game.

Yeah, right around 6:30 pm on the 25th of October when I finally could visualize that it was finally OVER, I had me a big #ss margarita and took a nice big sigh of relief!

With a local wedding you will definitely not have the same issues as we did but keep on top of it all and expect stuff to happen...And then it won't.
