Thanks everyone.....one of the gals ask if we had changed??? I am NOT the same Beth, the old obese Beth would practically hide, stay to the back of the room, and NOT talk or share. The new Beth is out going, and reach out to help everyone interested in WLS. I even help start out support group before I had the surgery....thanks again for the big welcome, Beth

I understand completely. I'm still in the same skin but I'm just not the same as I used to be...Good for us!

Hi Beth, I am not the same Dana either.  I tend to be much more vocal now, not always the best but I guess after years of feeling self-conscious and having no self-esteem all of my "energy" is yelling to come out, lol.

The first 2 years I noticed the biggest change...my hormones were running crazy too...I left home for about a month, in fact moved to Southern CA. Guess I found myself and came back home. The last 4 years have been more like the real me...I love my children(4 adult) 6 grandchildren and my husband of 46 years. He has always love me...even when I was obese, which now that I look back wonder how he could???? He claims to have never seen me as "obese"....there is much more to the story and if anyone has had experienced similar situations we could compare notes....Beth
