Hi all,
I am past my year surgiversary, and passed my doctor's goal for me. I have hit a plateau these last 2 weeks and am staying between 214-218. My 1 year doctor apt is next friday and will be talking with him about all of this below.

I have gotten side tracked and want to get back to the right way. I haven't been watching what I eat much, just paying attention to protien first basically. I dont drink with meals, watching that very closely! I take my vitamins and excersize regularly.

I was wondering the following questions:
1- How much volume should we be eating at a meal? It can't be the 4 oz. any more. I was thinking a cup to a cup and a half of food.
2- Can I go by the nutritional pyramid? What system should I go by? IE: how much meat/carb/veg/fruit/fat should I be getting in?
3- Does anyone have a typical schedule of how their day goes? Like when they take their vitamins, what they eat and when, when they excersize, etc?

I hope someone can answer, I really would like to know what everyone does at Goal. THANKS!!!!

1. my meals are to be 1.5-2cups in total volume

2. It depends on what works for you and what your surgeon/NUT says. My NUTs plan to maintain weight is 30% protein, 40% carbs, 30% fat... the majority of the carbs are from fruits, veggies dairy and the rest from bread/starch. The fat should come mainly from natural sources and secondary from animal sources. Basically I eat 3-4 servings of veggies a day, 2-3 servings of fruit and 2-3 servings of bread/starch carbs along with protein at every meal.

3. Here is my schedule

645am multi, b6, b12
830/9 breakfast
10 optional snack
11 calcium
1230/1lunch
2 calcium
3 snack
430-530 workout
530 postwork snack
630 calcium
730/8 dinner
9 snack

From 412 to 195 in a year, and I've been stable at 195 for over a year.

I got as low as 180's when I could not stop and have slipped above 200 once as well.  If I find I get below 190 I eat more and if I push 200 or would go over I eat less.
