Accountability Monday
I always read this post to late to reply. But I do like seeing all the ideas for meals & the advise.
But when do you have time to drink anything ?
If we wait 1/2 hr before & 1 hr after to drink I don't see much time to drink.
I'm having problems with wt gain now & I plan on getting that metabolism test so I know how many cal to eat. And although I am down over 100 lbs I am still obese! My BMI is over 33 so that puts me in the obese catagory. I have tried upping my cal (1200) & gained, tried lowering cal(1000) & stayed the same. If I lower the cal to 900 I'm afraid to go into starvation mode. So my mission now is to get that test done so I know what I can eat. I don't eat very many white foods. I do indulge in some sweets. I do exercize. not enouph though. I'm trying to up that part.
all I can say is:

And getting tired of trying.

I have to say I am in the same boat. I eat more and I gain I eat less and i stay the same. I sucks i do get in exercise but not enough also. And i don't dump on sugar. But i have put on 60 lbs after my baby and he was born 1 year ago last Sunday. I cant get it off and i am in the MO category again. i never reached my goal of healthy weight and i probably never will. so I just wanted to let you know that you are not alone. any enough boo hoo about me. good luck to you

You can post when you have a mind to...It's never too late for us.

Trying is all you can do. whether you succeed at all is irrelevant...If you don't try, are you going to succeed? Nope. Just have to keep trying.
Maybe there's something mechanical wrong inside...Maybe something is broken. I would have to contact your surgeon to have them check out that possibility.

worked to nght shift on sunday into monday so I didnt do too well on eating.

had about 24 oz of water 16 oz of cl and sugar free coco. kinda short but i did get up at 11am after working all night 10 to 6am

Need more water! Definitely. Less taters and corn and more protein...Pizza is okay but leave the crust and just eat the toppings...
I'd have to say your protein is probably about a 70, I would guess. Skipping lunch isn't that great. It would be better if you ate some string cheese and some lunch meat instead of nothing.
I really do believe that protein is the key to maintaining and losing with the RNY..It's just my opinion but it seems to work for most.
