Restriction Do You Feel It???
I know the further out we get in our WL journey we can eat more and tolerate more food. My question is have you lost your feeling of restriction or do you still get a feeling of fullness when you are eating. Does your pouch still send you a signal to say "Okay that's enough?" Or do you say when you've had enough?
I still do not have a physical sensation of gnawing hunger. Which doesn't mean I don't want to eat: but that's a mental thing.
I do know when things are "too full" and if I'm not careful I can create some pain that would make me wish for death (before vomiting begins). Not chewing raw apples or carrots in particular.
When people write that they think their stomach no longer works I think: "yeah, try swallowing something without chewing it completely...you'll learn if things are working pretty quick"
So I don't get a hunger feeling but I do get a "you better stop now" feeling.

Typically I feel satisified from eating long before I feel the restriction of my pouch... however if I do keep eating passed the point of being satisified my pouch will definately let me know.
One thing Ive noticed is different times my pouch will feel different - one day I can eat a 1/2 of sandwich, another day I can barely fini**** and feel full... its a strange thing. I still try and keep mindful of portions and only put on my plate whats enough so I am not tempted to keep eating passed the point I know I am full.. especially when it comes to something yummy I love to eat :-)

I can still feel it. Granted I can eat more now than in the beginning but it is still there. It also depends on what it is. yogurt wil blueberries...can eat a lot of because it is liquidy...but 1/2 a chicken breast and I am done. I do have that...one more bite and I am gonna hurt feeling...I know I should not eat to that point...and usually do not but sometimes it still creeps up on me.
