2 years soon
I have been out almost 2 years and I have lost almost 150lbs. My concern is that I noticed I can eat more. Does this mean my pouch has stretched.
I know about the 5 day poch test, and people told me the pouch is very hard to stretch.
Dose any one have any pointers. After all this I would hate to gain weight. I noticed I go up and down with the same 4 lbs.

Hi Paulette! Congratulations on 2 successful years!! I'm sure you have not stretched your pouch. At about 18mths out I began to be able to hold more and now at 3yrs 9mths out I can eat what I would consider to be a normal amount of food. My lowest was 150lbs, but I find this weight very hard to maintain. My body likes to be around 155lbs so I allow myself to fluctuate between 150-159lbs~when I start getting into the higher 150's I cut back and drop down a few pounds~this has been working well for me for quite awhile now. I think if you've been maintaining within 4lbs, you're doing a great job!!!!!!

Just about eveybody will tell you it's normal to be able to eat more. It's hard not to be obsessed with weight after the honeymoon's over and the real work begins. Shoot, with all we've been through, it would be awful to wake up one day and have all that weight back. I got down to 125 for a little while, and inched up to 130. Right now I'm in the higher 130's, which I do every now and then, but I can get it off pretty quick if I make some small changes. I have a bad habit of not weighing when I've been really bad, because I just don't want to own up to it. And in no time, 5 pounds turns into 50 pounds. So my plan is to keep an eye on my weight and measurements, and when I start to get out of control, do what it takes to get back down to 130 or so. It sounds so easy, doesn't it? (I know it won't be.) It's a lot of hard work and discipline, but it's so worth it.
