Accountability Tuesday
Thanks! finding TVP has been the best thing that has happened to my RNY hands DOWN...I just love the stuff. I make chili and compete here at work each year in a chili cook off (usually win too). This year I found out my boss is vegetarian so I made up a batch of my recipe (not the hot stuff) for her. She didn't show up that day but the office DEVOURED the chili...And the vegetarian stuff went first. They were amazed.
I put it on my sf jello pudding, in my oatmeal, on my dannon yogurt...yummy stuff!
The wedding was in Hawaii on the 11th but since hardly anyone could come to that, the reception is here on Saturday. We've had a bumpy road to getting there but I think we've got it handled now. My sister and step mom are now involved. I feel like I have a team backing me and with them handling some things, I can even handle dh when he freaks out on me...

Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

Tuesday:
Breakfast - Reduced sugar oatmeal made w/ carb countdown milk
Snack - Protein shake
Lunch - Piece of fish w/ shredded cheese melted on top and some steamed veggies
Dinner - Turkey and cheese on multigrain english muffin and reduced sugar yogurt
Snack - String cheese and an orange
I actually took the time to count my protein yesterday and it was 72 grams. First day in 4 days I didn't have any halloween candy. Had to throw the rest that my kids got at a parade in the trash - that stuff is evil!
