I am excited this is the first time i have posted anything. I have been a memeber for a while. I had my 1 year aniversery on 10-11-2008. I started at 360 lbs and now i wieght 205.  i have lost 155 lbs. I think that it is great and i would do it again . I had the gastric by pass. I went to my doctor and he was happy also. I hope that i am  not losing to fast but he wasn't conserned.  I know my weight loss has slowed down because i stayed at 210 for 2 weeks. When will the weight lost stop?? I just don;t want to panike when it does stop.  It hasn't stoped yet but it has slowed down alot.

From what I understand after the first 12 to 18 months weight loss slows down quite a bit. It did for me. You really have to be mindful of what you are eating and stay on track for the weight loss to continue. You have done wonderful so far and I wish you great success!

Congratulations!  You've had a great year!

It's very individual as to when it stops.  Just stick to your plan and you'll continue to lose.

You've done a great job. I bet you're noticing how much easier you can move around now.
You'll probably lose a good bit more weight, just slower, but remember that little losses will make more difference now than they used to. Congratulations on all your success.

Congratulations!!!  I had my surgery 15 months ago, and I am still losing.  Not as fast as it was in the beginning, but I am still losing.  My surgeon said it should stop around 18 months.  If you are watching what you eat you shouldn't have a problem.  I use my tool!!!  I feel so blessed.  I am not going to worry about gaining the weight bac****il I see it actually happening.  I am already below my goal, so whatever is meant to be will be. Don't stress yourself out, just take one day at a time.  I pray you continue to have a healthy and successful journey.
