Wow it has been along time that i have been here on the boards. Sept 7 2008 marked my 7th year birthday.. Everyday Im still amazed at this surgery and what it has done for me.  I started at 305 pounds and i got to my goal weight at 10 months, and I have stayed at the weeight  of 120 pounds, I love it, Now my weight does go up and down, I mean it will go all the wu up to 130 pounds then drop back down to 120, for the most part i stay at 120.

I just wanted to share my joy with you.I never thought my dream of being thin would come true and stay true.

Thanks for sharing!  Right now I am very pleased that I have lost the 15 that I gained.  I found that a couple of wrong choices in diet lead to a few more and then I was back to the old habits.  After laying off those trigers, I have found a renewed sense in my tummy and 'will power', if you will.  My desire is to stay right here!

Congratulations!  Love hearing from people further out that are doing well.  It seems that allot of times people that are further out only come here when they are having problems.  You go girl!

Tara, congratulations on your 7 year post op and maintaining your weight. You are an inspiration. It is enlightening to hear from people further out who do well without complications and weight gain.
