I am so so so sad!!!

Hi Everyone,

I am soooooooooooooo sad, because about 2 years ago DYFS took my grandson from my daughter, it was a mistake, it is a very long story, so I am going to get right to the point, anyway, they kept giving her the run around so I stepped in and I received Physical custody of him a year ago.  Eventually I received Legal Custody in March of this year.  Anyway, I made a mistake and let my daughter take my grandson to store with her, (she is not allowed to be with him unsupervised) and she got into some trouble, (don't have to detail it,) and the Police called DYFS and they took him away again, they are have a court hearing in about 1/2 hour so the Judge can decide whether to give him back to me or keep him in Foster Care, I can't go back on what I did, but I miss him so much he is only 5 years old.  I keep remembering how he was crying when they took him away.  I hope somehow the Judge will let me speak and understand that I am not perfect, and that I would never let it happen again, please don't keep him in a foster home.  Please everyone pray for him!!!!

OH i am so sorry for you and we all make bad choices but they should give him back. foster system is so full and if family is willing they usually give them to them. Hope all goes well.

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope things work out ok!

I will pray the courts return him to you, they can't put that little guy back in foster care when he has a grandmother who will love and care for him.
