Good for you-it's not easy to make good choices at a party! Today I did well:
Suisse mocha instant sugar free decaf
1 americano with half and half
2 protein drinks (I've only had 1 but will try to have another before bed)
Roasted ling cod in tomato olive sauce
Roasted beets with ricotta salata
handful of almonds
2 oz fresh mozzarella
1/2 oz dry salami
1/2 cup marinara sauce with ground chuck and 1 Tbls parmesan
1/4 c spaghetti squash

Protein; 105g
Carbs;: 29g

Mary! Think about a potluck and how you did. You did SUPER...You have great self control too...1/4 of an oatmeal cookie? There's no way I could stop at a quarter of a cookie..I had EIGHT sugar free cookies (granted they were small but still) I also had some gastric distress from that (some really noxious gas later)...LOL.
AND an hour of Zumba. I did 20 minutes on my Wii and it was mellow..2 sections of aerobics that consisted of hula hoop and beginner stair step...You did awesome.

Are you drinking decaf? It might help your appetite. I think you need to snack more. Even just alittle..I find that if I warm up my pouch in the morning with something sticky (oatmeal or hot cereal) I tend to feel better. And the carbs tend to make me want to eat alittle more carbs. That might help you somewhat.

In some people caffeine causes a loss of appetite. Not in me, actually but one of my friends had to quit drinking coffee completely cuz she started losing weight...
My pouch hates cold also. In the mornings, if I try and do cold cereal or head straight for an omelet, the ol pouch gives me fits. So I eat my oatmeal with added protein and in two hours, I'm ready to eat something like an omelet. Funny thing, how we learn to figure out what our pouch is telling us...

OK i am back I had a bad weekend and week my boys are sick and my oldest had to say home from school. So I am getting back to it.
B-Mellon honeydew about 1 1/2 cups over about 2 hrs at work
banana, coffee w/non-dairy cream and splenda
l-3/4 cup tuna salad and 5 bites of tom soup
s-popcorn
d-salad bar w/the baby we share baby corn chicken noodle soup two chicken wings
a few of my hubby's popcorn shrimp love those and 2 bites of jello
s-2 mini peppermint patty Halloween dang candy
so that's it and my water and a south beach bar some were in there.
