Wow...That calorie number had me scared but the protein number is AWESOME. Yeah on the ribeye...If it's not nice and tender, it's not worth eating. I can't even make my own. I get it at a cafe we have here and my husband and I share it...To DIE FOR!

Good job! Have a great weekend.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

I know-my calories ARE low! It's ridiculous ! Unfortunately I've found that I have to stay in the 900-1100 range to keep losing. I could eat more if I exercised, though. That's my next step!

That's my inner debate too. I know I'm out of shape but if I exercise, I'll need to eat more (which, at this point, I've saturated the "market" and I'll have to start eating junk to increase calories) AND the scale will go up as I add muscle weight...sigh. Healthy is my goal, not a number on the scale..

You have a great weekend! I plan on it.

I keep wondering, is it possible to "break" your metabolism? Because according to what I've read, I really should be able to eat more and lose. It's frustrating!

I can't say if you could break it or not but I do know that burning calories is suppose to work and some people are resistant to burning calories.

Early out when you start losing weight after surgery, we all had those stalls where we'd quit losing weight cuz the body would go into starvation mode and it would naturally hang onto the fat deposits to keep us "alive"...Maybe that's what's happening with the exercise. Maybe you're not getting enough calories to make the metabolism work right and have exercise work right.

Just a thought. My metabolism is broken the other way. I lose weight if I don't eat enough and I don't want to. I'm exercising to add muscle and bring my weight up some (even if it's all in my mind...) LOL.
