So I have been googling the BodyBugg, as seen on the Biggest Loser and I am thinking it is damn good option to really get me on track and keep me motivated. Anyone heard anything about these, any experiences?

I have seen them on ebay for $100 check there.  I use my HRM and am fairly happy with the results.  I have heard both good and bad about the BodyBugg.  There was a review on Spark People and the person who tested it said it wasn't worth the money.

I was fortunate enough to "test drive" the professional (medical) model of the BodyBugg and I was very impressed. It was a little annoying to wear at first, but once you get used to it you almost forget it's there.

I felt it was great motivation and really helped keep me focused and fine-tune my nutrition and exercise routine.

However...having said that...I then had my RMR tested and using calculated values based on my RMR - the numbers were almost an exact match with what my armband was averaging.

So I guess the point is that if you need to constantly see something to remind you to stay on track it is worth the money.

If you're just looking for something to tell you how many calories you can eat in a day - get your RMR tested and it will be cheaper.

I think both are as accurate as you're going to get without invasive monitoring in a physiology lab!

Hope that helps!
