accountability Tuesday what did you eat today?
Tami, I appreciate your feedback so much! How much protein should I try to get, and how many calories, in your opinion? I'm 5' 2" and 185 lbs. I am working on getting down to my goal weight of 135-I was 293 before surgery. What about calories? It's true I haven't been good about exercising, at least in a formal way-I'm very active now, gardening and doing projects and walking the dog almost every evening instead of watching TV, but I don't really work up a sweat. I'd love to hear what you think.

I'd get to 1200 cals and less. Every 500 less a week is a lb loss ( I think I am remembering that right). Increase your protein to at least 3 protein drinks a day. We need to absorb that, cant eat enough to absorb.
Also, you do need to do better exercise. If you build muscle it works off calories after your work outs, as cardio cal burns stops the minute you stop exercising.
So decrease your intake, stay away from the white carbs, no sugars, and increase your exercise till you get to burn a sweat. Keep up the other activity...that is great.
100 lbs so far gone for you is no little feat....I'm proud of you and I know you can keep this going. It will be hard....but worth it!
