Summer is coming to an end....vacation time is over.....the kids are back in school....
No more doing more running around like a chicken with your head cut off.....it's time to relax
It's time to take a break.  What have you done for yourself lately?

 HI Genie,

I go to  kung fu and Sat I bought myself a zebra print skirt from forever 21!  Oh so fine!  Got it cheaper on line than at the store too!

I do try to set aside time for myself, whether its reading or chilling with "Law and Order" or doing something nice for myself.

What have you done nice for yourself??

Well, I don't have any children to send back to school and I'm always laying around relaxing.  I'm here on the East Coast and the weather is getting ready to change, I can already feel the chill in the air.  Since I had to get rid of all my 22/24's and I'm a few sizes smaller...I guess I'm going to go SHOPPING!!!!!!!!

Hmmm...it's very hard with a 2 year old, 1 year old, husband, and part time job to find something that I do for MYSELF!  I do go walking just about every morning.  I have to take the kids along and push them in their stroller, but technically it's still for me!
Blessed mommy of two boys!

Hi Genie,

Well Ihave done several things for myself lately, (1) I went clothes shopping after several months of not having the money to go, but I got a second job, so I was finally able to go, in the mix of all of this I never took my 1 year surgiversary pics because of not having anything to wear, so finally I was able to take pics too, and I posted last week new pics of myself since I had not updated my profile with new pics since I had been 9 months post op, and last but not least, when I was about 9 I had my ears pierced( this might not be a big deal for anyone else, but it was for me ) well a few years ago One of my ears ended up where the the earing split right through it and I was unable to wear an earing in that ear anymore.  Since than it always upset me that I couldn't wear earings anymore.  Anyway, about a week ago when I  was shopping for clothes I happened to go into this place where they did free ear piercing with a purchase of 14 KT gold earings, so I asked the lady is there anyway I could get my ears repierced.  The original piercing was in the middle of my ear lobe, so she was able to repierce them more towards the front of the ear lobe.  It looks so nice she did both ears to match.  My Birhday is this month September, so I got my birthstone Sapphire.  Anyway, when I told my Mom how excited I was, she said is this a hint because your bitrthday is coming up(she was just joking) I said no, but then I kidded back and said well maybe, LOL.  Just thought I share some good things will all of you.  I hope and pray all of you have a great story to tell, thanks for letting me share.

Oh, my days of running around like a headless chicken have just begun!  I'm a teacher!!!!

I'm really good at spending money on myself these days - I've become quite high-maintenance.  But the nicest thing I did for myself recently was to take some time to sit still and read a book from cover to cover (Tribute by Nora Roberts).  It was worth it.
