 Was out at disney yesterday and got in too late to post.  But I had a good daY  How about you?

Today I had 1/2 of eggplant parmesian, wasabi peas, v-8 juice, 3 protein drinks, oatmeal with raisins, I am going to have some mandarin oranges or some fruit. So far cals are 1024 and protein is 90 something.  Oh forgot 1/2 glass of wine.

I LOVE Disney World!  Last time I was there was in 2004 and I want to go back so bad!  I'm hoping to take my kids in the next year or two.


Breakfast - Reduced  sugar oatmeal made w/ calorie countdown milk

Snack - Fuzzy navel protein shake and a banana

Lunch - Spinach salad with grilled shrimp, egg, shredded cheese, and low cal dressing

Dinner - I made chicken parmesan with grilled chicken tenderloins (very yummy) and a few bites of broccoli

Snack - Will have a string cheese and maybe a piece of fruit

64 oz of water
40 minute walk

I am so jealous; I love Disney! We were at the world in February will try to go to  Disneyland in the late fall or early spring. I cannot believe how late it is already! I have been on the go since this morning early! Did church and then major grocery shopping( bought some spicy V-8), then to the YMCA for Zumba and 30 minutes on the treadmill mostly jogging now; yeah me!  I habve not had much time to eat and not sure what is for dinner yet.

S-SF pound cake it was cookie Sunday at church so I brought this for me and others who try to avoid sugar

I have never been to Disney in Florida...Hope to do that one day. The left coast has just the little old Disneyland...Love it. We had a good weekend here. I actually had the best margarita Saturday night that I've had in several years. We went to Chili's to have a steak and the steak actually sucked but the margarita was AWESOME...Even had a bit of a hangover this morning but I chased it well with plenty of water and fluids...

Today:
oatmeal, tvp, soy milk

3 eggs (over easy) and 2 strips of bacon..hashed browns (2/3 cup)

Protein bar (SoBe Crispy Meal Bar)

Grilled chicken (5 oz...WAY over ate) 1/8 cup frozen peas cooked, 1/8 cup mashed potatoes

Total for the day:
Calories: 1511
Fat: 64
Carbs: 129
Protein: 116.8

Saturday night I checked my totals and the protein was barely passable (102) but that was cuz most of the steak I had at chili's had to spit onto the plate...Nasty tough stuff with too much grissel...Note to self: no steak at chilis, burger instead. But the margarita? I'm hooked.
Yes, RNY worked for me but it also requires a lot of work from me!

 hee, hee, margaritas are good!!
I found that I have to buy the filet minon ( did I spell that right?) when I go out because otherwise the steak is too harsh for me.  I never eat the whole thing and get several meals out of it.
Your cals were a bit low for you today, but you'll make them up!

Steak is usually okay. It was the first dense protein I ate early out and I'm fine with it usually...Hubby and I can usually split an 8 oz steak and do really well...This time...TOUGHT rubbery steak so it's a NO GO next time. LOL

Snack: Big handful of mixed nuts

Dinner: Baked chicken thigh, 1/4 c. brown rice, steamed broccoli and carrots
