I love grapes and banana's and find that these two fruits keep me from falling off the deep end.  Are they good fruits or bad fruits?

I Love grapes and banana's too. Both low in calorie but high in carbs especially grapes. 1 cup of grapes have 29 grams of carbs. In MY opinion, I don't think it will effect your weight/weight loss IF you watch your carb intake for the day when eating these fruits.

Just my 2 cents!

good carbs and bad carbs. these are more in the good carb area.  I love my fruits too, but some say that the spike in su gar from the fructose could be dangerous. Jus****ch to see how your body reacts to the fruit. For some, its not good, for others ok. I agree to watch your carbs the rest of the day/  We do need things to keep us from the monster foods !  good job!!

Have you tried freezing your grapes?  It's like little popsicles...just be careful not to answer the phone after eating those....your tongue tends to not cooperate!

I love fruit too, especially grapes, bananas, and cherries.  I eat fruit every day b/c while it's not low carb, it is very nutritious.  I do usually try to eat something with protein when I eat fruit, like I almost always eat a string cheese with grapes or I dice up a banana and eat it in some yogurt.  I read somewhere that eating protein with carbs keeps the blood sugar from spiking.

I love bananas, grapes and strawberries and I too find that they help if I have a craving for something sweet. I have eaten then with no problems for a few years now.

is there such a thing as a "bad" fruit?

I'm going to claim nobody ever got morbidly obese eating bananas.  Banana Splits on the other hand...those might be a problem.

I also see a cup of grapes is right around 100 calories.  I guess you can decide.  A cup of grapes for 100 calories: is it worth it?
