Martial arts class?
I have been doing kung fu for over a year now. I go 4 times a week usually for 60-90 minutes. There are different schools out there. Mine focuses on health , not competition. I like the adult classes during the day, and that the focus is not on eastern mysticism.
Try out a few classes and see. Kung fu teaches you self control, it tones your body, strengthens you, teaches self defense and builds bone density. Along with movement , for circulation and stuff. I have not gone to the chiro for over a year, and have been healthy. I work up a sweat and feel confident in myself.
I had been working with a trainer for a year, and feel I get more out of this class situation than with a trainer. I am building muscle with resistance, not machines.
I will be testing for my 5th belt in Sept. Learning new things and memorizing things I thought I could never do.....but I am, thanks be to God!!
HOpe this helps!
