Don't know if I qualify to be here, I will be 18 months this Saturday.  I feel like the HOSS of this board.  Most of you seem to be 140 and under, I am at 165 and holding.  I had foot surgery on 7-25 and was so afraid of gain and as long as I stay around 165 I am ok.  I am hoping when I start back to the gym in October maybe I can get to 154 and have some plastics sometime in the future.

You will find that it will not hurt my feelings if you see me doing something wrong and you all have permission to ride herd on my ass if you start to see me screwing up!

Thanks in advance
AmyBeth

Welcome AmyBeth!!! I'm not under 140, LOL, I stay between 150-159lbs at 5'9". I have been back up as far as 167lbs, but don't like the way my clothes fit at that weight and I'm NOT buying any new clothes, LOL!!! Most of the time I can maintain in the 150's nicely, but struggle from time to time with emotional eating. Anyway, enough about me! Just wanted to welcome you and hope to see you around here often!

You are taller than me and we started about the same place I was 322 and holding steady around 165, I want to see the 150's so badly!

Hi Amy and Welcome.  Do not judge yourself by the standards of another.  You look lovely!  It would help to know your height & starting weight along with your eating habits and exercise routine.  Remember there are no quick fixes and the surgery is all about  a lifestyle change.
Best,
AmyBeth :)

My height is 5-6 and weight is around 165 started at 322.  My eating is a little off right now, due to the surgery, I some throwing up and diarhea and got down to 163 one day but didnt count it cause I knew there was nothing inside to let out, lol!

Thanks

Welcome to the grads board. You deffinately qualify to be here. I don't think most of us here are under 140. I am 5'3" and now about 150 after recently having PS.

Hope you find this a good place to hang out and get support.

Hi AmyBeth,

Welcome to the board.  Remember that weight is just a number and it does not define how well you are doing after having WLS.  You will reach your goal once you return to your gym.

Look forward to reading your posts.
