Hey Everyone

I hope your weekend was as great as mine...the weather was to die for  But most of the weekend I was working on getting ready to meet a couple of OH Goals I set for myself.  Getting back to the basics and back to working out more.

There is no magic pill, no magic combo of foods and or lose 50 inches in 50 mins gimmic.  We are just going to get back to the basics and the rules we know and "LOVE"

Here is what I am doing:

Not drinking 30 mins before and after a meal
Water, Water, Water
Protein first, Protein first, Protein first
I am eating every 3 hours and again protein first for me, that way I won't be hungry
Journal, Journal, Journal
Make time for me
Exercise, exercise, exercise

Also, don't forget your supps!

Go to your profile page and hit goals and set what you want for your goal to be by the end of the month.  I am not going to set myself up to fail by trying to meet a number  I know if I eat the right things and exercise the clothes will tell the tell and I will feel so much better

So my friends are you with me?  Come on and let's just do it for the rest of the month.  You know it works, we all have done it and lose tons of weight and felt sooooo good about ourselves.  We can do it together

Did You Move To Lose and or Maintain Today?  Come on in and let's get our goals started.  Rocky and I walked this morning and I am going to the Y tonight after work and do some weights and cardio!

Stay Strong, Sassy and Sexy

Take care,
Kathy

I am heading out of my office to go to a lunch hour step and kick combo class at the Y.  It will probably do me in as I haven't been in a couple of weeks due to illness and work.  So, I am back in the routine this week though.  My tummy is all better, and I have been cleared to hit the exercise train again.  So, I am off.  Wish me luck.  It is always a tough couple of days after missing for a little bit.

I survived the class.  I am tired, but I made it.  Woo Hoo!! LOL.  I have eaten good today and followed the rules so far.  So, maybe I can hold onto that and finish the day on track.  I have been doing good with the eating.  I have just missed the exercising the last couple of weeks.  But I am back.  LOL.

Hi Kathy! I do have to admit that when I'm following "the rules" I feel better mentally and physically. I often wonder why I ever stray from that path as I do sometimes b/c I never feel good when I do it?!?!?! Just one of those mysteries I guess, LOL!!! Anyway, I try to follow the rules most days.

I did the recumbent bike for 30min (7.5 miles) this morning and then walked 4 miles with a friend. Not sure if that's it for the day or not??

You know why we stray even though we know we feel and look better when we do stay on track?  Because life's drama's get in the way  We don't mean to but we forget to put ourselves first with  our health and that is when we stray....

So you and I need to keep each other accountable my friend

Good workout!!!

Take care,
Kathy

I'm with you!!! I'm TRYING to get back to basics and I have been back with my exercise program now for the last 3 weeks after a back injury! I LOVE what you said about not setting a number for a goal but I don't really know how else to do it. Even with my weight gain my sizes stayed the same, just tighter! I think I'm going to set a SUPER reasonable goal of just losing a lb. week. If I exceed it great but it shouldn't be setting myself up for failure!

20 mins eliptical machine, nautilus & free weights today!

Hi Kathy,

I am late with my response for Monday. I completed a 1 hour body pump class.

Jumping on the OH goal page.
