Well, today was a lazy lazy day. Too tired to go to work so I called in sick and layed around all day doing absolutely nothing...AND I didn't eat a ton, which is strange for me. Usually when I'm bored and have nothing to do, the fridge and I kindle an unhealthy relationship...

1st meal: 1/3 cup oatmeal, 1/4 cup TVP, 1 cup soy milk and coffee

Snack: 1 protein cereal bar (I think it was Bare).

2nd meal: 2 eggs on a bed of chili verde and some fried potatoes (didn't eat but a bite or two of those) and a flour tortilla (small one)

3rd meal: Left over Beef Stew, last of that stuff...Good though.

Totals for teh day:
Calories: 1765
Fat: 79
Carbs: 136
Protein: 135

All in all a pretty good day. I may add a serving of SF Ice Cream if I feel the need later. Tired again and I either may take a nap or pack it in for the day. Too many late nights and early early mornings around here. I gotta stop that.

Hello all!

This is day two of the 5 day pouch test.
Things are great....
I have had a bit of coffee today.. but I am working on it
From 5:00 am to 4:30 pm I have had 40oz  of coffee and only 16 oz of water
I will increase water now that I am at home and not at work.
Drinking 10 oz of chicken broth right now yummy! I have a slight headache but thats it!

Some will tell you that the caffeine will cause headaches but I don't believe that is true...I love me some coffee...

Good day today! I felt good about my food and great about my exercise. Ran 7 miles in 62 minutes, lifted weights for bis, tris, and shoulder, did pull ups and planks, then ran another mile with inclines. Whew! :-) I'm headed to bed!

Your protein was great! I need to get some more protein before bed! I have not exercised yet today and it is looking doubtful as I have my nightgown on. I tried to increase my calories today to see if I could lose some of this weight. I have not lost any since I started tracking my food and exercise three weeks ago. I eat about the same except I have passed on the occasional cookie or other baked good and my exercise is the same maybe a extra day for the last three weeks but am pretty faithful with it. I wish I had a protein bar I am tired of the drinks! Ate mexican; bad idea too many carbs and not good ones!

I hear you on the mexican food...That and thai food...All carbs, no meat. Ive pretty much gotten so that I'll eat my four ounces of meat and then pick at the good veggies or fruit. I do have carbs sometimes and some days the carb number is monstrous...but if I keep it basically headed in the correct direction, I'll get there eventually..

Your numbers are good to. It's entirely okay to take a day off of exercise now and then. Keep up the good work.

 I feel like I am eating all the time. Not used to oatmeal in the morning.  I am trying to think, when I have protein have a good carb with it.
