Hello everyone,
I noticed most of the post focus on weight gain and what everyone is eating. So I want to know what exercise did everyone do today?

I did a 60 minutes body pump class this morning @ 5:30 . I have increased my weights up to 30 pounds for lunges and squarts. 20 pounds for Bicep curls and tricep pressess. My exercise routine has really kepted me focused and I do not worry about gaining my weight back.

Look forward to hearing from everyone.

two hours of kung fu .  I usually do 1.25 3 -4 times a week, then on off days work around the yard and try to walk.

Hi,

I did a warmup on the treadmill, then 30 minutes of weight lifting mostly arms, back chest, shoulders today.

Hi Ruth,

You are welcome. I just heard it on CBS Sunday Morning News and started to cry. It means so much. I just had to grab that little section of her speech. We are all taking great risks to live a life again.

Thanks for asking - what a positive twist- just what I needed!

Today I took my hour walk during lunch. I work on a 56,000 acre research ranch and so I walk down to the old 1902 bridge on the river - it takes me about 20-25 min each way and I usually stretch out on the bridge before I turn around. The other day on my walk I saw a coyote chasing birds - how cool is that!

Hi Tammy

Thanks for asking.  I decided to get on my bike and together with my daughter cycled over to my friends house instead of going by car - about 1.5 miles there and then 1.5 miles back a couple of hours and after much chatting later.

Not strictly exercise, but on the days when I can't/don't get to the gym I am trying ot increase my daily activities.

I walked 5miles with my friend in the am and in the evening I hopped on the recumbent bike for 30min (7.8 miles). I enjoy working out and doing different things so today I'm going to try a 1hr workout that I dvr'd from Fit TV~its yoga/pilates based and uses hand weights.

My commute involves a lot of walking, and I always take a 45 minute walk at lunch to CVS and grab a liter of water.

When I got home last night, I did 15 minutes of yoga, 15 minutes of strength training, and a half hour of aerobics on the wii fit.

My exercise routine and my blog are what really keep me focused. After 4 years, starting that blog gave me the motivation I needed to really keep my commitment strong.

Yesterday I jogged for 35 mins, power walked about 15 min.
Today I will go to the gym and do weights and a little cardio.
I'm so glad I am getting back into the exercise groove...it helps in so many ways!
