It is hormonal.  Sucks doesn't it?  Back to the teen years with all of the care needed.  Be careful of too much moisturizer based products.  It is like a whole new world....................again!!!  LOL

That's so hard! I feel like I need to moisturize (with oil free, of course) to prevent wrinkles...

also with all the sweating you are doing with exercise, that may add to the problem. Now remember, acne is not due to not being clean, and if you over scrub you will exacerbate the acne.  You may need a small dose of antibiotic to get it undercontrol, then work on either hormonal issues along with topical treatments. Also, watch out on using multiple mixed products because you can cause reactions from that. Using a mild soap to wash your skin on  your back, like dove, and a sensitve product on your face, again, not the scrubbing.....
I 'm a nurse and also sell mary kay and have gone to lots of workshops on sensitve skin and acne.
So I'd encourage you go to your doc about this, and see where he directs.
It will get better.
And we were lied to as teens....said we wouldn't get pimples as adults!  NOT!
Keep us posted!

Thanks! I'm going to call my doctor about it today. I need to schedule my two-year blood work anyway...

You can also try an aspirin mask because lots of acne meds have salycidic(sp) acid in them.  I take a couple of uncoated aspirin and crush them and add some witch hazel or aloe vera gel to make a paste and pat it on my face and let it dry and rinse it off.

I had the same problem and it was out of whack hormones from losing a large amount of weight in a relatively short period of time.  I finally had to go to my primary care doctor and she gave me some topical cream.  As my body adjusted to the weight loss, I had to use the cream less and less.  In addition to all the great suggestions you received from others, talk to your doctor.

This too shall pass!!!

That's the craziest thing. I haven't developed zits, but my face gets oily during the day and I have to use an astringent to clean it off after lunch-time. I used to keep Stridex pads in my locker in high school, and here I am working on age 48, with wrinkles AND oily skin at the same time. Always something.

That's what I feel like, too! Wrinkles are coming and zits won't go away! :-)
