TMI--Zits

Has anyone else had to deal with zits since losing weight? I'm almost 35 years old and have lost over 120 pounds. I never had breakouts when I was younger--or heavier, but now I have bumps not only on my face but also on my back and my shoulders. YUCK! My DH jokingly asks if I'm taking steroids, but it is SOOOOO not funny. The cute sundresses that I can now wear doesn't look so cute when my back looks like a greasy teenager's! What's up? Any words of wisdom? I swear I wash regularly and with good soap!

I use noxzema and it works wonders on my face...been using it since I was in high school and swear by it for life, twice a day every day!

The white cream noxzema in a blue jar? I'll try just about anything at this point!

Yes, in the blue tub about $3.56 at Walmart.  Make sure it's the Original not sensative skin because that tends to make my face more greasy.
Twice a day and you should notice a difference by the end of the week.
Good luck!!
If you have a natural food store around ask them about any tea tree soap that worked wonders on my ex-husbands "backnie".  If you are using a moisturizing bodywash that is more likely to promote achne than get rid of it.

Sounds like a hormonal problem to me~possibly adult onset acne? I know alot of people that have had huge success with ProActive~most of them purchased the ProActive type product that you can buy at Walmart for a fraction of the price and with no auto-ship to worry about~and they LOVE the product.

Thanks. I've heard good things about ProActive, too. I currently use a BeautiControl brand called All-Clear--it worked for a while... I think that I'm going to have to talk to my doctor--the hormone thing...

Hi Tulpen,

I am 56 years old and have the same problem! I use
Continuously Clear Dry-Lo Spot Treatment Acne Medication that you can buy at HSN online or at Ulta stores. It costs $22.50 a bottle but it is worth every penny!

Hope this helps!
