7 yrs out and not taking ANY vitamins???
their labs are "fine" because:
1. they don't get all of them done
2. some docs considered slightly low "fine"
3. nobody reads the results (horrify you to know how many)
4. most clinics do not f/u after 2 yrs
we need labs for life, about 12 vials. At least every 6 months, every 3 if you can
we need:
2 multi (not prental, not gummy)
calcium
iron with vit C
extra dry vit D3
dry vit A (retinol, not beta carotene)
dry E
zinc
B12 sunglinual or shot
b complex

P.S. My year + long absence has NOTHING to do with my WLS, or my type of WLS. See my profile.

Well it was few months before my 4 year mark that I tanked out. I am sitting here in amazement at the thought of people not needing to take thier vitamins for life. Yeah I thought I was past "that" mark, I wasn't a newbie after all..Im fine. Yeah that was until I colapsed on the floor and began to die in front of my children. I would of too if my sister hadnt called and realized something was off. Months of hospitals and physical rehab is what followed. Im am now left with sever pain from the nerve damage and memory loss. It has been a year and a half. My diagnosis=severely vitamin deficient, extent of possible recovery is unknown. More than likely I will be like this for the rest of my life. I could go on and on. But hey I have a walker..wheelchair..showerchair and a host of medicine that I have to take daily..as a reminder to take my vitamins.
