did/do u ever worry about CARBS?
I never counted carbs at all...But then again I followed the rules and only ate them in moderation. I still do...But I have gotten off track and found myself gaining when I was eating too many simple carbs and sugars...and began journaling my food intake. At that point I became very aware of carbs and the link between them and my weight gains and loses.
I eat whatever I want, but I want mostly healthy because stuff like rice or pasta is okay for a few mouthfuls but more than that and I am in pain and hiccuping and not happy at all! I am very aware and even somewhat careful not to bring my carbs over my protein intake...I jus****ch my calories more than anything...because ultimately it is calories that make up a pound...and not carbs...Still it helps to know how the body works in order to make it run smoothly...and carbs and protein all play a part in the make up of a calorie and energy and pounds...
My body lets me know that simple carbs are not friendly just by the gas and bloating I get...I run much smoother on complex carbs...(fruits, grains and fiber) I try to stay away from sugar...but some artificial sweeteners give me cramps just like sugar...so...I eat natural sugars as in fruits, honey, pure maple syrup, stevia...and eat all others (real or fake) in moderation...
