I think my body is GREEDY for water....
Diabetes Type I |
Intense thirst and hunger are classic signs of diabetes. |
Symptoms of type 1 diabetes usually develop over a short period, although beta cell destruction can begin years earlier. Symptoms include increased thirst and urination, constant hunger, weight loss, blurred vision, and extreme fatigue. If not diagnosed and treated with insulin, a person with type 1 diabetes can lapse into a life-threatening diabetic coma, also known as diabetic ketoacidosis.
Fluoride Toxicity | Excessive thirst (and resultant frequent urination) can be early warning signs of fluorosis. |
Chronic toxicity, the result of ingesting small amounts of fluoride over a long period of time, results in dental fluorosis and skeletal fluorosis. These conditions are seen in areas where there is natural fluoride in the drinking water at levels above that added in public water supplies in the United States.[citation needed]

If you're in AZ your body just might need water because of the heat to stay hydrated.. That being said, there is a rare type of diabetes out there called Diabetes Insipidus that is related to thirst. You can talk to your doctor about being tested for it. It has nothing to do with sugar diabetes and you don't take insulin for it just a daily pill.
I was diagnosed with this when I was 14.. The best way I can describe it is.. remember those days after drinking all night and you woke up with a very dry mouth and could drink tons and never feel your thirst is quenched? well its similar to that if you dont take the medicaiton.. Its very easy to control. If you continue to feel the way you do try and get tested for it.
good luck :)
